I would love to walking character sprites for all the creatures in this version, similar to RPG Maker FES creature character sprites as shown in the picture below. FES comes with a decent amount of these sprites, but this would be a great addition to add where we could use both the FES creature sprites and creature sprites version of this product.
The monster designs included in this asset pack are the same as those in the "MEGA FANTASY Pixel Monster Pack," though with slightly different color schemes. So if you're looking for walking sprites of these monsters, please consider purchasing "MEGA FANTASY Walking Monsters & Faces"!
My goal is to make a tactical RPG which would require the character sets. I love the style of the walking hero, monster, and NPC sets in the Mega Fantasy series, but the issue is that I don't know if they will work well with the current tilesets that I'm using. If there was complete tileset to match the Mega Fantasy series, I would totally buy everything.
Thank you very much. Tactical RPGs are the ones with that diagonal, top-down perspective, right? Hmm... I think I'll eventually get around to creating tilesets as well, but since they'll need to conform to RPG Maker specifications, they'll be top-down 2D tilesets...
Maybe I don't understand the system of this platform properly, but what is clear is that I did not manipulate the price of this product to increase the price (although I did manipulate the discount). So, it's a misunderstanding. Well, anyway, thanks for your interest in this product.
This pack is super cheap compared to all other monster art packs I've seen from other artists, not only does it have way more monsters than most packs (some are $15US not on sale for 10 monsters and only one kind of view, usually front), the sideview art is actually proper sideview art, not just the frontview art with the pupils moved at most.
I just saw a comment on your other product that you are making a 16 bit material pack. I'm really looking forward to this. I just have one recommendation. Can we please get character sprites (walking graphics) for every monster (I'm guessing that these are the monsters that will be in the material pack). Having these character sprites for all monsters would be highly useful for tactical RPGs. There aren't many monster character sprites out there, and this would be great. Keep up the good work. I'm most likely going to guy your all in one retro pack soon.
EDIT: I know I mentioned it before, but if you ever have time to make character sprites for all of the monsters in the retro pack too, that would be awesome too! :)
Yes, I'm currently working on a set of walking and face graphics for the monsters as part of a 16-bit material pack, fully compatible with the MEGA Fantasy Pixel Monster Pack!
It will take a few more months to complete, so please look forward to it!
The monsters in the "Marumugi Monster Pack" are also slightly different in coloring, but the types are the same, so I hope you will find them useful.
I'm prioritizing the production of 16-bit materials, so it will be a while yet, but I will add to the task to produce walking graphics of monsters for the "8-bit Retro Graphic" as well!
Afterwards, I thought about it again and decided to work on the walking and face graphics of the monsters in the "8-bit Retro Graphic" in parallel with the collection of materials I am currently working on, because if I create them after the 16-bit material collection, they will be created much later!
So we will be updating the "8-bit Retro Graphic Material Collection" in a few months, so please look forward to it!
Sounds good. I will pick up the retro pack soon. Looking forward to the updates. I'm trying to make a game similar to Ultima III: Exodus. The retro pack fits this well.
EDIT: Just one quick question. Are the tilesets already setup in MZ database?

I want this but it is kinda pricey and it NEVER goes on sale and not only that, I saw that you recently raised the price.
Hey? Wasn't that product part of the Winter Sale just recently? Sorry, but please wait for the next sale.
It was not a part of the winter sale

Yes, accompanied by a pre-setup json file.
You can use the json file in the "data" folder by overwriting it in your own project.
This looks cool! We need more of this!
Thank you very much!
