4/12 2024: Update!

The monster images for the front view had been appropriated directly from the images for the side view, but many of them have now been modified to optimize the images for the front view.

What assets are you currently working on. Just wondering whether I keep going with the 8bit retro, or whether you will have some 16bit Mega drive style tilesets and characters available soon :)

The 16-bit style is what I am currently working on. However, this series is far from complete. In fact, I was recently astonished to realize that although the current progress of this series is only about one-tenth of the total, it has taken two years to get to that point. However, I have not been working on this series consistently for the past two years, so there is a great possibility that the pace will pick up in the future (or rather, it will definitely pick up!), it will take at least four or five years to complete. I know this is a long shot, but please consider this situation carefully as you move forward with the production. Best regards!

Thanks for reply. I am currently using the 8 bit stuff, so I will work with that. If I eventually release my game, I may be able to use the 16 bit stuff in a sequel. Thanks.

Such a great and useful set, I was able to replace all of my monsters and they all fit a bit better with the mighty pack.

Thank you so much. I’m glad that my style was a better fit for what you were looking for! I will continue to work hard to create collections of materials that will excite the users!

This is what I've been working on, using your 8bit packs and 9 bit Monster packs (and a similar 8Bit pack called "Mighty Pack".  First person dungeons, very much like Phantasy Star 1.

The use of colors is just like "Phantasy Star 1" itself! I can feel your attention to detail, such as the first-person perspective when entering the dungeon. Also, I see that you are using materials I created, so thank you very much. Good luck with your work!

Do these have front view battlers? I'm about to purchase something, but not sure which yet, as my decision affects what other graphics packs I end up using. Is there a sample image you could show me of the front view monsters in this one? Thanks

All monster designs included here are side-view. The folder "enemies" contains monsters for the front view, but all the designs are either exactly the same as the side view or simply reversed.

A list image of all the monsters is attached. This is the side view, but as mentioned above, the design of the front view is exactly the same as this one.

I am planning to create new images of some of the monsters in this folder for the front view, but it is still a long way off. However,

However, before that, I am currently working on walking sprites and face images for all of the monsters here, both of which will be updated free of charge!

These resources look great! I was wondering if there are walking monster sprites for each of the monster battlers in this and the other monster pack?

Thank you!

We have included some of the monster walking sprites in "8-bit Retro Graphic Characters", but unfortunately not all of them.

Specifically, they are as follows

En1_Actor...

En2_Evil...

En4_Boss...

All of the file names that begin with these letters have walking sprites and face graphics.

Some of the En3 monsters have walking sprites and face graphics.

These are the following 16 monsters

En3_001Orc...

En3_002Goblin...

En3_003Slime...

En3_006Ghost...

En3_012Zombie...

En3_013Skeleton...

En3_017Evilflower...

En3_019Merman...

En3_025Death...

En3_026Werewolf...

En3_031Lamia...

En3_040Harpy...

En3_045Leviathan...

En3_049VampireLoad...

En3_058Behemoth...

En3_060Demon...

and so on! Thank you very much.

Thank you for the quick reply and information. Is there any chance in the future that there might be an expansion to add all of the monsters to the walking character sprites? They would be a huge asset for tactical RPG games.

Okay, I think that is a good idea.

However, I am currently busy working on another collection of materials, so it is a bit impossible. I will consider it when I have more time!
