March: "MF Walking NPC & Faces" Progress Report
Time flies, and it's already March.
I'm creating something from morning till night, so the days pass by in an instant. It's a happy life as a creator. Though from the outside, it might look like hell (laughs).
Since last month was February and a bit shorter, I was able to complete 13 characters. That's a little over half of the total. At this pace, I might be able to release it by the end of April.
In 'The Beginning Story' (a short RPG I previously created with RPG Maker MV and released only in Japan), there's a scene with a baby, and while working on it I realized, "Oh no! I haven't made walking characters for the baby!!" So this time, I properly created baby characters. There are two versions: one crawling on all fours and another walking upright. I also made graphics of the baby sleeping.
Even though I'm busy creating various things every day, I've recently become fascinated with Stable Diffusion, an image generation AI. I'm studying new knowledge about checkpoints, LoRA, VAE, and so on. My current graphics card has 8GB VRAM, which feels a bit inadequate... However, due to the weak yen, Trump tariffs, and general scarcity, the graphics card I want is ridiculously expensive!! ...Anyway, I tried creating a draft of the baby's face graphics using Stable Diffusion (just as a draft!). It feels like the scope for utilizing AI is expanding day by day, not just for art. I think (at least for now) AI doesn't have emotions, so it can't create art that appeals to emotions, but it's becoming an indispensable supplementary tool.

Excited and looking forward to your next set - What's the most interesting part of Stable Diffusion to you?
Thank you very much!
Compared to other online image generation AI services, I'm attracted to Stable Diffusion because (for now) it can be customized in detail. However, it's quite difficult to master.
