Nice! Now we just need the tileset. Do you still have plans on making a full set of walking characters sprites for the NES version?
Thank you very much.
I'm still working on the tileset yet, but I'm working on the walking characters right now.
It will be divided into two parts, the first one is “Walking Actors & Faces” and the next one is “Walking NPCs & Faces”.
The designs are based on “8bit Retro Graphic Materials”, but I plan to increase the volume with several more types!
Nobody does monster walk characters and monster towns and such is a specialty in one of the worlds in my RPG. You plan on making this set in battler form?
Sorry, I am not sure if I understand correctly, as I read all the English messages by machine translation, but do you mean by the term "Butler Form" the material as shown on this page?
MEGA Fantasy Pixel Monster Pack
This "Walking Monsters & Faces" corresponds perfectly to the one in the "Pixel Monster Pack"!
Are you planning on doing a 16 bit Tile set (environment, town etc) as well? I'm excited for the future of this series. I own most of your previous sets.
Thank you for looking forward to it!
Yes, it will likely be quite some time, but I am also planning to create tilesets.
Ultimately, like the "8bit Retro Graphic All-in-one pack," I plan to create a series of materials that can cover all aspects of graphics.
However, since I am working alone and the 16-bit version has more colors compared to the 8-bit version, it inevitably takes more time.
Here is a tentative lineup of what I have planned:
It may take several years to complete, but since trends change quickly, I am a little worried about whether there will still be demand for such materials by that time. Nonetheless, I will proceed steadily!
There really is nothing else out there like your work that really emulates the 16 bit style, especially the monster battlers.
Yes, it is. I hope others will produce more and have more options!
Thank you very much.
However, I am sorry to say that we have received several individual requests, but we have turned them all down.
Our apologies!
Thank you for your understanding.
I look forward to working with you on your project!
I don't think you have anything to worry about, I think there will always be a demand for great pixel art. :)
Since the rise of indie games, I think its always going to be a fixture in one way or another.
I see, thanks!
I'm Japanese, but apparently Pixel Art seems to have a stable citizenship, especially in foreign indie games.
Long live indie games!
is there any plan about adding human enemy sprite and face to this mega fantasy package. bcz there is human enemies in nes style package
Is that the file that starts with "En1_Actor..."?
I had no plans to do so at the moment, but I will consider including it in a set when I create a collection of "sv_actors" materials in the future.
yeah, en1_actor types. thank u!
Wow, these look incredible.
Are these the start of a new line of packs from you? Would absolutely be all in on Mega Fantasy.
Thank you very much!
Yes, the "MEGA Fantasy" series will continue to expand its lineup.
The next collection will be a collection of walking and facial graphics for major and general characters.
Please look forward to it!
